What Does Code 59 Mean?

Charges are adjusted based on multiple/concurrent procedure rules. When multiple procedures are performed at the same session, payment for subsequent procedures is typically reduced.

Group Code CO (Contractual Obligation): The provider has agreed to accept the payer's determination. The patient is generally not responsible for this amount.
